3 articles from a very rare 1895 Victorian periodical - the first article is entitled "Rambles in Japan”" by H B Tristram – Canon of Durham
Very interesting 6 page article with several illustration discussing the authors journey around the country, its history, places and peoples. This is part 3 of a 10 part series but is a complete article in its own right. I have the other 9 articles currently on ebay and would be prepared to offer discount on the full series Illustrations include Japanese Buttons Japanese Bronze Lantern Zozo Temple Buddhist Priest Vegetable Pedlar The second article is entitled “Maria Edgeworth” 4 pages by James Macaulay describing the life and work of the Childrens author Finally “Philae and the Nile Reservoirs” by Henry A Harper 3 pages discussing the area Please note these are genuine actual pages extracted from a rare disbound Victorian publication, there are no covers and there may be extracts from other articles at the start or end. Images show the article whilst in its still bound state, the article will be posted as loose pages. Some pages may be showing signs of foxing / browning due to the age of the paper If you are interested in more than one item I will always combine postage where this is possible so long as purchases are in one transaction. If you are forced by ebay to pay multiple postages for your purchases I will refund the overpayment Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my item for sale. Please see my other items currently on ebay in my ebay shop - If you have any questions about any of my items please contact me.
