You are buying a brand new pre-programmed EFI Firmware chip for the Apple model in the title above 
The EFI Firmware chip will be programmed with a working firmware revision released from Apple. 

This item is used to fix a corrupt(bricked) EFI Firmware chip and password on boot also.


It will NOT unlock the OSX password, for that you can use eDrive with Snow Leopard and necessary tools to access to content.

Please DON´T purchase the item if you are going to unlock the OSX password or something like that.

Before you purchase, please make sure the MacBook Pro model and the Logic Board Number match the title.

What skill you must have :

1. disassemble the laptop

2. find the chip(I can offer the picture showing the location of BIOS EFI Firmware Chip)

3. replace the chip(requires skill to desolder and solder by using a fine-tipped soldering iron or a hot-air station)
