the laureate bust of young Queen Elizabeth II facing right,

The reverse shows a crowned shield with 'E' to the left,

and 'R' to the right.  Shield quadrants represent

members of the United Kingdom: 3 lions for England,

1 lion for Scotland, and a harp for Northern Ireland.
