Does your machine play with a Hissing sound or a Muffled audio or louder on one side than the other? 

If so it probably needs a clean up - This will do the job 99% of the time ( but please be aware it can't fix a fault - its just a cleaner) 

Pop it in and press play - Run for 10 seconds and stop - sometimes you will need to do this 2-3 times

 At the end of the tape just flip it over and start the process again.

Every Cassette Player and Recorder has a sensitive magnetic head, capstan and tape guide that need regular cleaning to give trouble free 

recording as oxide regularly comes away from the tape and builds up on the playback and record heads, a clean through is recommended every 15 - 20 hours of normal use.

Most people have not cleaned their system for years and can't understand why the quality is now poor

This cleaning tape will clean all of the important tape guides, capstans, pinch rollers and the magnetic video and sound heads without causing any damage,

 and thus increase the quality and the life of your player

Don't leave it until it needs cleaning - as it may be too late and then a repair could be required 

 Ps. We are finding that heads are no longer available for most cassette players as this format has not been made now for many years
