It has an in-line switch to enable easy control of the power to Raspberry Pi. The switched power supply provides a highly regulated output perfect for sensitive devices. This is not a cheap power supply like others that can damage your kit. Designed for use with 3D Printers when using OctopPi. Will also power anything Micro USB at 5v upto 3A :) Plug the UK plug into the wall socket and plug the micro usb connector into the usb device. 100cm approx power supply wire.
