Great Britain, 1890 florin (two shillings), .925 silver, 29.5 mm, 11.3 gms. The obverse shows the Jubilee bust of Victoria to the left. The obverse legend, "VICTORIA DEI GRATIA". The reverse shows four crowned shields in cruciform, each with coats of arms representing U.K. Union members Eng., Scot., Ire. Four sceptres are between the shields in diagonals. The reverse legend shows "BRITT: REG:" to the left and "FID: DEF:", to the right. Probably lightly cleaned on the obverse. Luster still visible in the protected areas around the lettering. Very light, normal contact on the surface, but retaining virtually all original details. The reverse shows retained original luster over most of the surface.
