All our products have passed the EN71 Safety Standard Tests. Remember this is a component and should not be given to a child until it is firmly secured to a finished design. If you are making to sell ensure that the toy has passed the EN71 tests and a technical file has been completed.
This mirror material gives a great reflection. Made from PETG, it is the recommended mirror material for use in children’s toys. This material has been tested to show it is safe for use in toys - see example photos. The mirror has a protective film on the top and a sticky back. Just cut to shape, peel the backing off and add to your project. This will keep it in place while you sew round the edges.
Sold in A4 sheets.
This is a wipe clean only product (manufacturer recommendation). I have machine washed this and found it prone to surface scratches. DO NOT tumble dry.
We have tested all these products on both a sewing and embroidery machine and found it worked best with a slower speed; however, you use the machine at your own risk and Tactile Treasures Limited take no responsibility if the machine gets damaged or causes injury. If you are in doubt you can easily sew these in by hand.
