This vintage BPOEW (Improved Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks of the World) Elks Lodge banner is absolutely killer. It features the majestic Elk and behind it, a clock at 11:00, or the "Hour of Recollection." The banner is made of fabric and has two grommets for easy hanging. The fraternal order has a rich history and 2018 notes the 150th anniversary of the BPOE, when in New York City the club began. It is definitely a neat piece and one you don't see everyday. It would look awesome in a Lodge today or as wall decor in your home.

Condition:
It is in good vintage condition overall, with two things to note. The first is a small hole in between the 5 and 6 on the clock (seen in photo #3). There has also been "of W" painted below the BPOE on the Elk with white paint. We have been told by an Elks member that this was commonly done by  African American members of the Elks to fit their monicker better ("of the World").

Size:
Measures about 45 inches long and 32 inches wide.
