Personnel:

Wynton Kelly (p), Hank Mobley (ts), Cecil McBee (b), Jimmy Cobb (d)

Wynton Kelly was a regular artist at the Left Bank Jazz Society, a jazz fan group in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1967, Kelly left this co-star recording with Hank Mobley as a invited saxophonist, and a world full of hard bop's charm is further developed. This live performance lengthens each of the six well-known standards played with plenty of time, a feature not found in the studio recordings of the Riverside and Verve recordings of the time.
