POST-WAR PROTOTYPE MINIATURE CARS 1948 - 1950 - 1951
C H S - Prototype Miniature Car - 330cc
Introductory article on 3 pages removed from TheMotor of 1 December 1948, describing the prototype of a small French car with front-wheel drive and independent suspension - conceived by the Chausson Bus Manufacturing Company, to be made in Cricklewood by L.T. Delaney & Sons. 
RUSSON 
 Single-page launch article from the 20 April 1951 issue of The Autocar showing this miniature 3-seater made in Leighton Buzzard. Pictures show the prototype and the chassis. It had an aluminium body on a tubular frame with independent suspension all round - apparently 15 were made.
IOTA
Derived from the 500cc IOTA F3 racing car this miniature 2-seater sports car, built in Bristol had a Douglas 348cc flat-twin motorcycle engine, which despite its long bonnet was mounted centrally - 70mph and 70mpg was claimed. The sole survivor is in a museum in Nashville. Two page article taken from the 22 June 1951 issue of The Autocar.

Enter the Superior 600 - 576cc - two-stroke, described in this single-page article from The Autocar dated 24 February 1950.
