One in a series of 12 different humorous Guinness showcard designs by artist Tony Escott dating from the 1960’s/70’s.


Escott was an English cartoonist & illustrator synonymous with Guinness adverts in the 1960s. Guinness had the confidence and foresight to use humour as its marketing weapon of choice in its industry leading campaigns to promote its brand.


Advertising showcards such as this fine colourful example were supplied by Guinness to publicans and entertainment venues to be displayed on prominent locations such as counter tops, window sill, notice boards etc.


This framed example is in very good original condition, perfect for collectors of brewer advertising and for display in mancaves and home bars.
