The cheerful "Kuplat" is a timeless classic by Yki Nummi designed in 1959 and still made in Finland.  The name "Kuplat" means "bubbles" in Finnish.  The lamp consists of two acrylic shades of different colors, one nesting inside the other and is suited for many spaces.  The white acrylic inner shade functions as a reflecting surface for the light bulb and brightens the light passing through.  The outer transparent acrylic shade comes in choice of colors with brass colored aluminum collar.  Available in sand (shown), smoke grey, transparent, sand, purple, red, orange, and aquamarine and in three sizes, 270cm, 400cm, and 480cm.  Please see separate listings.  Takes standard medium base incandescent bulb, 40W-60W recommended.  Comes with ceiling cover and 2m cord for hardwire installation.
