Beautiful Chullo Hat of Q'ero Ceremony This is a chullo hat, woven by hand and decorated with beads in the Andean Community of Q'eros in the province of Paucartambo. The Q'eros communities continue to adorn their clothes with beads. This originated in the 17th century after the Incas were conquered by the Spaniards, they practically became slaves and worked in the fields for the Spaniards called ascendants and as compensation they received products and one of them was beads, at that time they did not know what do with it and began to sew their clothes. At this time many of the Andean communities continue with this tradition and decorate their fabrics with beads and buttons. The Andeans or Q'eros paq'os wear this chullo hat during ceremonies; Payment to Paccha Mama, Offices and others. OFFICE - HAYWARISQ'A.- It is the Quechua word for offering.
