Lovely Pair of Louis XIV or Neo Classical Dolphin Motif Wall Candle Sconces w/Beveled Glass Mirrors
Ornate Metalwork in Glossy Brass, Truly Stunning
Approx: 20" H x 9.5" W (candle holder to candle holder) x 3.25" Depth, Mirrors 11" x 3.5", 3.75 lbs each

In this offering is a pair of Ornate & Bright Brass Louis XVI or Neo Classical Design Dolphin & Urn motif vintage decorative wall sconces with beveled mirrors & candle holders. Some call this style by many names, but whatever you call them, they are really lovely.  Each has two sturdy floral cup candle holders. Some people like to enhance these with hanging crystals & there are slots (holes) on the candle bases for 6 on each side (much like the other mirrors shown in last photo). We did not have any crystals with ours, but thought we would note that for you.  We only gently dusted these pieces off, so they need a light cleaning.

Great look & size to these & they will enhance any entry, parlor or other room.  The brass on these looks really nice & better than most we have seen.  We noted no real damage that effects the appeal of these items, but there may be minor areas of wear from age that we did not note.  The mirrors a pretty nice but do need a quick clean as well and they have some general wear as well.  There are just over 3 lbs each and are pretty easy to hang.  We are not sure of the maker of these or the exact age as they are unmarked.  Ones nearly identical have been called antique or vintage but we cannot be 100% sure.  They were from a fairly picky antique collector's estate, but beyond that we do not have other information.

We have seen models similar to these sell for as much as $640 on eBay within the last few years and many for less of course.  We are pricing at what we feel is fair based on the average of other sales and overall condition of our items.  Please review all pictures taken for you consideration and use zoom feature if needed.

Please Read: See our Feedback & Buy with confidence.  We ship with extreme care and all items are fully insured!  We often take from 30-90 minutes packing more delicate & odd sized items to make sure your treasure is protected.  We also photograph most items above $100 while packing in case a shipper were to ever damage an item (only one time in over 2,000 US shipped sales).  For this reason, if an item is ever damaged, it will be the Buyer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping service and we can provide photos from packing to assist Buyers.  The process is not difficult, but the timing of such does not allow adequate time for the item to be returned to us and then for us to proceed with a claim (chain of custody questions can arise as well on returned items due to double shipping and handling so it is just easier for Buyers).  So again, as noted in listing, we do not offer returns.  Sales tax is charged according to your state or country's regulations.  Of course, there is free local pick up and we can meet to assist if you are near Indianapolis or driving through.  We do this often.

Signature confirmation is required if your item is above $100, so please plan accordingly.  Also, we have discounts with FedEx & eBay on shipping which do not always show up in eBay estimates on shipping. We try to refund what we can when there is a notable difference, but we do not know until we actually process the shipping order.
