BE advised as great as our Poly felts (the fuzzy surface) are - they are rated for once a month play. If you are playing more frequently..- EVERYDAY / WEEKLY.. THE POLY FELT WILL EVENTUALLY DETERIORATE . . We recommend YOU MAY START with our poly felt.. and at the point when the poly felt shows too much wear.. save the COVER as the pad for our #1 upgrade : Speed lite.. rated for everyday play,  Speed lite is NOT poly felt - it is NOT fuzzy - it is a smooth surface.  Speed lite is poly linen.  Speed lite - rated for everyday / weekly play -- performs best with a floating felt PAD or used felt cover as the pad. Upgrade request available anytime.
