Made in West Germany (around the late-1970's, I believe)
I currently have two pairs of 'Comets' in stock -- this is the second pair, which happens to be in slightly better shape than the first
If you collect vintage Adidas or Track memorabilia, these are a great addition (especially in the original box)
The box is a large factor in value here (as most vintage track spikes were tied together by their laces and thrown in gym bags)
Original divider and paper fill is intact, albeit worn

These spikes are in good condition overall. Lightly cleaned up for listing, still some residual dirt/debris.
They are quite dirty still, though; easily removed and cleaned up, but the small restoration details are being left to you.
I mean, you can tell from my photos that these still glisten in the right places. They have a lot of the wear/patina that's typically desired in vintage goods.
I can't make any guarantees beyond what's pictured and described, but this really is a stellar pair to have.
Spikes are still in, tags are still attached; I only found wear, no real damage. They seem to be structurally sound as far as I can tell
There are the natural and expected signs/areas of wear on these, but they are in exceptionally good shape for their age and application. If you collect vintage spikes, you are probably familiar with how raggedy they can become. This pair still looks good enough for a second life as a collectors piece. I wouldn't recommend wearing them due to the nature of vintage goods (and the likelihood of complications between their age and the spikes/soles) but they'd certainly look good in a display or a closet.

That being said, I bear no responsibility for the structural integrity of vintage sneakers/spikes. If you collect vintage, you should know what to expect.
The spikes are still intact, please be careful (I am not responsible for injury/damage to you, the spikes, or your floors as a result of mishandling)
