Gorgeously detailed cheetah sitting on a wood base. The base appears to be made of natural wood, laminated with some sort of material. As for the cheetah itself, I'm not exactly sure what it is made of. It's not chalkware, it may be a sort of plaster. I looked far and wide trying to find out where this was made, and after about forever I found one example that had a tag on the bottom, as this one does not. That example has a very similar cheetah on a wooden base, but it is a wall hanging. The tag is from Triangle industries of Los Angeles and dated 1967. The listing claims that it is made by a subcontracted company called Nova art design studios, I believe. The two looks so similar although the poses are different, that I cannot believe they are not of the same origin. In excellent condition with very sight signs of wear and tear. Please refer to pictures for details. Measures approximately 16 in tall, with a base that measures approximately 11x9 in, and weighs approximately 8 1/2 lb
