Two volumes: tan-colored cloth with black lettering over boards, Vol. I: The Years 1915-1946, Vol. II: The Years 1950-1968, both volumes extensively illustrated in black and white with reproductions of Strand's photos. Both volumes have their dust jackets, a couple of small signs of wear on volume I's dust jacket, volume II has a clear Brodart jacket over the dust jacket.
