A replica of the famous MM Stingray preamp from 1979, based on the LM4250 chip, designed by Leo Fender.
Very low power consumption, only 34µA / 9V ( 0,034mA ). Battery last very long.

Quality components were used to create the preamp:
- Original NOS  IC LM4250 from 1979, Ceramic DIP National Semiconductor
- Alpha potentiometers 16mm to fit smaller cavities ( round shaft 6,35mm )
- tantalum capacitors
- top quality wire ( *note: some wire colors may vary according to the picture )
- Professional IC socket ( the chip is not exposed to temperature )
- Wires through holes PCB design ( Looping the wiresthrough holes and then soldering them provides strain relief so that the solder joint isn't taking a significant mechacical load )

The controls are Volume, Treble cut/boost and Bass boost as per the original:
-Treble   _  1MΩ REVERSE LOG POTENTIOMETER
-Bass     _  100KΩ  LOG POTENTIOMETER
-Volume _  25KΩ  LIN POTENTIOMETER

*PCB dimensions 23 x 50 mm

The preamp has been checked and is ready for installation, works exellent.
Prewired, just connect the pickup and guitar bridge ground.
It also worked great with other bass pickup configurations.
