Antique Vintage Metal Cruet Salt Pepper holder.

This cruet holder has its original oil and vinegar bottles, and only one stopper, one stopper is missing. It does NOT include the salt and pepper shakers. The cruet holder looks and appears to be pewter in color and texture, however it is a mixed metal as the holder is slightly magnetic. Washed the bottles, they are bright and clear however they do have a vinegar residue which can be cleaned. The shape of the holder indicates that it should date around 1760 to 1790, however the bottles are hand blown and have no seams, which indicates they date before 1865 to 1870, they do have bubbles. It does have a wood bottom covered in fabric, which may have been later, added to not damage table tops.
