Up for sale is a Very Rare, First Berkley Trade Paperback/Softcover Edition of Danse Macabre by Stephen King.

Scarce and Becoming Increasingly Hard to Find!!

Please remember this is the Large Trade Paperback/Softcover Edition!!

Not the small, more common and less valuable small paperback edition!!

Please also remember this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this Title!!

This title was FIRST published in hardcover by Everest House in 1981.

If interested, we do have a TRUE First currently up for sale. Feel free to message us for more info regarding that copy.

Buyers Beware...

Sadly, as is often the case with Stephen King titles, we have seen quite a few sellers advertising their copies as TRUE Firsts when they are clearly NOT TRUE Firsts.

Whether this is because of simply not understanding what points of issue are necessary to denote a TRUE First or intentional deception, the end result is quite a few copies being offered as Firsts when they are unequivocally NOT TRUE Firsts.

We have even seen some copies, that are so obviously Book Club Editions or later printings with a number line ending in a 4 or 2 or 6 being labeled TRUE Firsts.

Quite baffling to us!

Do not be fooled, a TRUE First of this title will have a few important first edition points/identifiers. If ALL of these points of issue are not present, then the book is NOT a TRUE First.

Thank you and please continue reading for more pertinent information regarding this book.

This rare treasure has some clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition!

The wear, however, should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.

The book appears gently read and other than a single letter written on the first page, has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris.

The binding is still holding tight and firm.

All of the pages are present, fully attached and surprisingly crisp and clean!

Some general/shelf wear along with creases/scuffing/chipping/marks/wear to the spine/corners/covers, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/marks/discoloration/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text!

Please note the wear to the spine/corners/covers, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, and the wear that is present on the pages, varying in size and severity and particularly noticeable on certain pages!

The wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.

As mentioned before, there is some internal writing!

There is a single letter, written in pen and located on the first page.

The writing/page has been closely photographed for your consideration.

We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all of the wear when determining the value of this rare book.

We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear.

Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear is clearly visible!

All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.

Numerous photographs from various angles were taken for your consideration/inspection.

Please closely and carefully view ALL the pictures for further clarification!!

Following the conclusion of the auction, payment must be received within three days or the book will be re-listed.

Please feel free to contact us with any and all questions. We are very proud of our 100% positive feedback/ranking and offer an easy, no questions asked return policy so you can buy with confidence! Thank you!!
