Vintage Grateful Dead Bear Head Container/jar/cannabis Holder? Glazed Pottery Collectible. Burgundy/Brown color. Vintage

I have no idea what this is. I know it is a bear head from the Grateful Dead but I don’t know what it was used for. It has a plastic screw top but the top is missing. It feels like chalk-ware on the bottom but has what looks like a bar code from the 80’s on bottom. I’m at a complete loss as to what this head collectible was used for.

The depth of the black top is 1 inch

The height of the bear from top to bottom is 7 inches

The width from ear to ear is 8 inches.

It feels like it has a glaze over the paint

It has a few scuffs on the paint.

Rare!!! I can’t find another one like this!
