Listed here is a NEW Mercruiser/Mercury Fuel Filter Element Cartridge (officially known as a Gen 3 Cool Fuel Element).   These are Genuine OEM Factory Mercruiser parts NOT cheap Chinese aftermarket replacements.  The part number for these cartridges is 35-8M0093688 or 8M0093688.   Older numbers like 35-866171A01 may supersede to this part #.  They list for $71.17 new from the dealer.  These all came off the assembly line in July of 2021 or after so they are NOT ancient stock that has been stored in a warehouse somewhere.  They have been stored in a climate controlled parts room continuously (even currently) since purchase.  These are the fuel filters that work on many of the newer Bravo Cool Fuel Fuel Pump Assemblies starting in the early 2000s until about present day.  These are the elements that fit the removable cage that pops out of the fuel pump assy.  The part number for the cage assembly that they are compatible is 35-892687A02 or 892687A02.  These are OEM direct replacement and are the only filters that I am aware of that fit that unit.  DO NOT use the cheap aftermarket alternatives since many do not seal properly burning up the fuel pump (i found this out the hard way).  Purchase will come with one element, two sealing o rings, plastic packing bag, information leaflet, and box as you see in the pictures with nothing extra.  Only ONE set will come per order.
