Simpson Strong-Tie HTU26 2 x 6 Face Mount Hangers are designed so the nails line up with trusses with shallow heel heights as low as 3-7/8". This makes the HTU26 hanger very versatile for various trusses. Additionally you can have the HTU26 skewed up to a 67-1/2° angle. Alternate allowable loads are provided for gaps between the end of the truss and the carrying member up to 1/2" max. to allow for greater construction tolerances (maximum gap for standard allowable loads is 1/8" per ASTM D1761 and D7147).

HTU26 hangers can be installed filling round holes only to reach the minimum load value. By filling both the round and triangle holes you can reach maximum load value if desired.

Standard G90 Zinc Galvanized Coating Information
Standard G90 Zinc Galvanized Coating contains 0.90 oz. of zinc per square foot of surface area (total both sides). This coating provides a low level of corrosion resistance and should be used in dry environments.
