Rohm (Carlisle, Pennsylvania), 8 1/8 x 11 inches tall spiral bound in pale gray printed covers with clear protective overlays, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, maps and facsimiles of family documents as well as one color folding illustration, each of the 16 chapters paginated separately, approx. 250 pp. total. Slight soiling and rubbing to covers. Signed in the year of issue by the author on the blank verso of the front cover, which also has a presentation bookplate from the author to the Samford University Library in Birmingham, Alabama. Cancelled library accession label to blank verso of rear cover. Otherwise, apart from a couple of pages with very slight marginal soiling, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce genealogy. OCLC (No. 14578897) locates only four copies at institutions worldwide - including copies at the Library of Congress in D.C. and at the state libraries for Pennsylvania and New York. 

Looks at the ancestry of, and traces the known descendants of John Rohm, born in 1803 in Baden, Germany, where he married Christiana, in 1854 emigrating with her and several children via New York to New Bloomfield, in Perry County, Pennsylvania, where he filed for U.S. citizenship in 1859.
