Made in Canada and measuring 5 3/4" tall with a 11" diameter, this is a stunning addition to any kitchen. It depicts an abstract design known as a 'Salish eye'. Cultures from northern Oregon, Washington State, and southern British Columbia do not rely heavily on animals crest figures in their social organization or artistic expression. Instead, designs from Coast Salish (Lushootseed and Salishan-speaking) cultures emphasize naturalistic forms, flowing lines, and abstracted shapes. Crescents and triangular forms are common.
