Also known as Fern Moss, Sheet Moss or Carpet Moss, is an airy, carpet forming moss that grows laterally when on land but vertically when completely submerged in water. The most versatile and economical option when working with Terrarium, Paludarium and Aquarium builds, one piece of this moss is deceivingly expansive and modular. Tearing or using scissors to cut this moss in pieces poses no risks to the health of the plant and is advised if you want to make sure you fit out your tank or terrarium glass perfectly.
Those red/brown things are tiny conifer cones, not insects π€

Please consider the environment when buying live moss in Australia.
Unethical harvesters collect as much moss as possible leaving nothing behind in the forest for regeneration. They forage enough to supply large scale amounts to the florist wholesale industry across the country, most of which ends up in landfill because it's all for display purposes.
All the moss I sell is ethically foraged from sustainable sources. I am currently one of the only suppliers in Australia doing so. I select the best Moss possible when I forage, and I only take what I need to satisfy this small market. As a result. no moss goes to waste.
