Our Huckleberry Garnet Stardust150 is hand-made from our Huckleberry Idaho Star Garnet claim material. We use all of the chips found in our mining screen tailings, plus the grinding and cutting sand from our lapidary. It is crushed, screened, and cleaned by hand in our shop. We are the only ones to touch and process our material, right here in Clarkia, Idaho (Shoshone County).

Many of our Idaho Star Garnet's display a red to purple color shift when viewed under incandescent and LED light, as well as a 4-ray or 6-ray Star. This creates what is known as a very rare Double-Phenomena gemstone. When viewed in natural sunlight the Almandine-Pyrope (Rhodolite) Garnet can appear pink to dark red and dark purple, while the 4-Ray or 6-Ray Star appears white. Note the color differences on our spheres in natural sunlight and man-made (1100 lumens) in the last two photos.
