Afghan Ersari Flatweave, 5’2” x 7’8” / 157 x 234 cm.

Field contains three concentric diamonds, outlined in yellow, with rams horn hooks, on an aubergine ground, interlaced with more subtle hooked diamonds in darker tones of dark teal.  

The main border is composed of kotchak like 

hooked cruciforms in yellow, red, teal, and dark olive. Minor borders of “s” shapes, stepped diamonds, an angular variant of a running dog border, and a yellow saw-tooth.
