Brighten up the room, in this jewel tone shimmery silk soutache coat, by Shanghai Soho...

Soutache is a wonderful tradition, wherein lengths of ribbon or trim are tacked into place, in a decorative pattern. This coat features rayon soutache ribbon inspired by nature, some flora and geometric patterns mixed together. The outer material is pure silk, and I believe the lining may be as well. This coat has a wonderful A-line shape, and flares gently below the waist, with open slits at either side for ease of movement. The collar and cuffs are made to be diverse: fold them up and back, or down (and the collar will reveal a touch of complimentary olive-toned satin fabric). The center front closure is five sets of self-fabric toggle ball closures featuring, again, a touch of olive satin fabric to compliment the vivid fuchsia pink. No pockets, but very very light padding at shoulders. Overall condition is excellent with one small flaw: a tiny set of reddish stains at center front, near hem -please see photographs for full details. Labels read 'Shanghai Soho, size Medium, 55% silk & 45% rayon, Made in China'.
