Our range of bath thermometers make checking your baby’s bath water is a safe, comfortable temperature, fast and easy.
Just lower the thermometer in to the water for a few seconds ensuring that the thermometer is fully submerged. The reading should be taken whilst the thermometer is held under the water. When the water is the correct temperature a tick will appear on a green background. If nothing appears then the water is either much too hot or much too cold. If the temperature is within a few degrees either side of 37ºC a cross will show on the left or right of the centre. Adjust the water accordingly making sure to mix the water thoroughly until the tick appears (as shown in the images). When it does this is the ideal temperature for bathing your baby.
Bath thermometers should not be left in the water for more than 15 seconds. Leaving it in the bath may damage the thermometer. Dry the thermometer after use. Store away from sunlight and direct heat sources. The thermometer is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of babies, toddlers and children.
A bath thermometer is for guidance only and is not a substitute for parents’ personally testing the water before use.

Simply
place this room thermometer on the wall near your baby's cot, using command strips, white tak or something similar (not supplied), and you
will be able to check that your baby or infant is sleeping in a room of
the correct temperature. Enabling you to instantly see if the room is
dangerously hot or uncomfortably cold and needs adjusting.
Whilst
the causes of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome are not known, The
Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) recommends that a child
sleep in room temperatures between 61°F (16°C) to 68°F (20°C) with 65°F
(18°C) being the ideal temperature. Most adults find it difficult to
judge room temperature and the FSID suggests the use of a simple room
thermometer in rooms where your baby plays and sleeps.
