You are buying a tool that is used to help install the reverse input clutch piston on either a 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E or 4L65E transmission.  The tool replaces the GM Kent-Moore tool, we have gone through several of the plastic ones last year so we decided to make them out of aluminum and have not had to replace it as of yet.  It is very simple to use:

• Lubricate the installer
• Simply slide the protector over the input housing
• Install the reverse input clutch piston assembly (the newer aluminum piston is shown - it will work on both versions)
• Remove the seal protector from the housing
