- And a Black FUR STOLE, satin lined.
- And Long Black Opera Gloves,
- And Black Strappy High Heel Vinyl Shoes that fit perfectly on most high heeled Barbies, (which hold on her feet because of the perfect straps)

What is being sold:
- NRFB Fashion in original manufacturer's condition, brand new inside original unopened display box. Purchased New from the 'Paul David/Mikelman' store in Ohio sometime around 2002.
- An attractive sturdy original box with fashion inside in mint new condition with a heavy plastic clear clean cover window - showy.
- Box is in un-dented, un-torn condition with 'maybe' the slightest signs of age or very gentle handling,... 'maybe' but probably not. These boxes look brand new in most cases.
- Outfit inside box has been stored in dark, air conditioned cabinet for the last 20 years.
- DETAILS: This gown's construction is impressive, with beautiful, high quality, slightly stretchy, black and gold color fabric - gold colored sequin enhanced. It closes in back with four pairs of black metal snaps and has all finishes finely hemmed. The coordinated Black faux Fur Stole is satin lined and finely finished, adding extra glamor hanging over and behind the shoulder.

Your faux Fur Stole is not shown in modeling images but is visible inside the front of box images, and in another close-up image.

Using the gorgeous Curvy Fashionistas Model #161, this gown comes to life on a Curvy Barbie doll. Fits curvy Barbie dolls as well or better than it fits Charice dolls, looking like a tailored fit.
The example gown shown on the doll in the images (yours will be NRFB) comes from our private collection and has been on display on a few different dolls for about 20 years.
Prior to dressing the Curvy Barbie doll in it, I gently washed the gown and gloves in a bowl using coolish to warm water and a couple of drops of Dish Washing Soap, then let dry overnight laid out on a towel. It looked like new! You can expect the same results from yours.
Whew,.. that was nerve racking,.. - slipping those Opera Gloves on to the Barbie Fashionistas hands took about three minutes each.
Since curvy Barbie's fingers are slightly spread it was a bit tougher of a fit than with most vintage or newer Barbies but with gentle patience and a pair of tweezers it was and is totally doable to get those gloves on and fitting perfectly. The construction of the gloves is fantastic, the fabric is slightly stretchy, the seams all held perfectly and the fit (once on) is perfect. No fingers ever poked through the fabric and the seams held up as they should. You can expect the same results with your NRFB gloves, although results may vary depending on methods.
((HOT TIP: If fingers are spread on your doll's hands, warm the doll's hand for about 30 seconds by holding it between your fingers when fitting the hands portion of the gloves. This helps the doll's spread finger to relax a bit. Or use hot water.))
I installed the gloves on first try with great success. No damage was caused to glove fabric and the final fit is impressive.
NOTE: If using a 'Made-to-Move' body (our model does not have an articulated body) you may have more trouble installing the gloves since the wrist articulation may fight against the installation process.
(In the case of made-to-move bodies: I might choose to simply fold the pair of gloves and have the doll hold them in one hand instead of installing them on both hands (secured with a bit of thread or a tiny rubber band), this would also make for a beautiful pose.
FINAL NOTE: I've blocked out with painters tape the PHONE and FAX NUMBER that lead to Paul David on the image of the backside of box.
Your box will have those numbers clearly visible. I don't know if the phone numbers still work or not but have blocked them out just in case for Paul David's and MiKelman's privacy.
Charice, Candi Girls and Retro Charisse dolls and Fashions are rare 11 1/2" vinyl fashion dolls and finely tailored form fitting fashion from the later 20th century.Manufactured by industry professionals, MiKelman and Paul David. At 11 1/2", Charice Doll is almost exactly Barbie size but with a bit more bust and possibly very slightly larger hips. In addition to the dolls, MiKelman also designed award winning high quality Fashion, which the company produced throughout the 1990's and into the early 2000's before moving on to other specialties.
MiKelman Fashions also fit Barbie dolls, regular size, and Curvy. With some outfits it may be occasionally desirable to add a bit of extra padding to fill out the bust lines of your particular doll, but not always or necessarily. In the case of Curvy Barbie the fit seems nearly exact in many to most cases.

OCCASIONALLY printed materials, paints, vinyl and plastics release a small amounts of gases or odors associated with manufacturing resulting in minor chemical odor. This usually dissipates quickly once package has been opened - within a few hours, or days. This rule of thumb applies to any and all products purchased from anyone.
