This CAP/CAP range of aluminium single phase motors are suitable for many different industrial applications. The start capacitor design is suitable for medium starting torque applications such as pumps, lathes or compressors.

Starting torque 1.8 - 2.5 times the rated torque. 

Motors are suitable for clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation and can be connected to a reversing switch for frequent changing.

It is however recommended that single phase motors are not stop/started more than 15 times in a 1 hour period. This will allow for safe discharge of capacitors.
