Antique Qash-Qai Kilim, ca. 1890; 5’6” x 12’0” / 168 x 366 cm

Overall pattern of alternating ~ 3 1/2” / 9 cm bands of ivory white 

and coffee brown—natural un-dyed wool colors.  Dark black-olive

wool stitches for selvedge.


A patch is found in the 17th band from the top. A few small holes/ moth

bites, and a few soft stains.
