Pleased to be able to offer such a fine and rare book.  We have "A Serious and Seasonable Exhortation to Frequent Communion" which is a compilation of sermons by the vicar of St. Hellens Church, Henry Hesketh, presented to the Mayor of London and King Charles II in 1684.  These were preached in the Parish Church of St. Hellens in London and published by Walter Kettelby at the Bishops Head in St. Paul's Church Yard.  This book seems to be extremely rare; I couldn't find another one.  The book is bound in leather, with the front and back showing a frame embellished with acanthus leaves. The four ribbed spine shows wear and restoration.  The book is currently solid, but it would be beneficial to re-glue the spine.  The first blank page is mostly missing and is odd looking.  The first few pages show some staining and the last few pages show a little, but the bulk of the book is amazingly clean.  This is the kind of book that just "feels good" in your hands.  It measures just under 6.5" by 4" by just under 1".  Enjoy !!
