A splendid work of art of great craftsmanship and great rarity, characterized by a sculptural quality of museum level.
We are proposing a polychrome wooden relief, from the Venetian school, dating back to the mid-sixteenth century (mid of 1500s).
The subject portrayed is The Deposition of Jesus, represented here, as well as with Jesus Christ, with various figures in splendid golden robes and numerous refined details, such as the faces and hands.
The general conditions of the object can be considered excellent (given its age); there is a slight restoration work on an angel's arm (see photo, please).
Work accompanied by the certificate/expert's report and also by the certificate of authenticity of our gallery, with photos, description, year and measurements.
