Bambusa bambos - 2 seeds

Fast-growing evergreen shrub or small tree, up to 2 m tall. Leaves are alternate, unevenly toothed, dark green, leathery, tough, up to 40 cm long and 10 cm wide, with a pronounced golden-yellow central vein. Young leaves and shoots are pinkish-brown, velvety pubescent. Dense, cylindrical apical inflorescences, up to 20 cm long, at first bluish-green in the form of buds, as they bloom, they become light green, and then pale yellow. After flowering, they turn brown and stay on the plant for a long time in the form of dense lignified cones, in the cells of which there are seeds. The main flowering occurs in autumn - the beginning of winter, but single flowers can appear throughout the year.
