A wonderful Large George III Scottish Silver Soup Ladle. 
Decorated with single struck Fiddle Thread and Shell pattern this ladle is in excellent condition.
No engravings and no erasures with well struck hallmarks.
Marks show this super ladle was assayed in Edinburgh with the date letter f for 1811.
Makers mark of the well respected Silversmith James McKay.
This very large ladle is 35.5cm long 
Made from a good gauge of silver this ladle weighs an impressive 7oz 9dwt (232g)
