Here is my lovely baby Curly. She is a 10 inch (25cms) Waldorf style art doll. I made her from Swiss cotton jersey and stuffed her with pure wool batting. I made all her clothes, underwear and shoes. She is wearing a printed cotton playsuit, which ties at the shoulder.  I made her white cotton stretch knickers and a long sleeved vest, trimmed with pretty pink edging and tiny pink bows.  I made her little slippers from pink French linen, I wet felted the soles from purple Merino wool.  

Her curls are dyed Teeswater Locks. She is wearing a ribbon hair band, to keep her lovely curls in place.  I embroidered her face and gave some colour to her cheeks with pastels. She has more floppy arms and legs than my dolls that are made to represent older children, so she feels more baby-like.

She is a soft and cuddly baby doll, who enjoys lying on her back and watching the world go by and loves be ing cuddled.  She will bring joy to her adoptive family and will arrive carefully wrapped and packed to make sure she has a pleasant journey.  She is not suitable for small children as her hair could present a choking hazard.
