A beautiful and colorful map from the Mitchell New General Atlas, published in 1865, the map was originally entered in to Congress in 1860.  This map of Mexico, Central America and the West Indies also depicts, Texas, the gulf coast, Cuba, Panama Railroad, Bermuda, Jamaica and much more - with nice original coloring!  The map itself is set within a separately engraved ornate floral border.  The map is much more attractive in person than this first picture I have uploaded, I will endeavor to add a better picture later this week.
