Description  

The Harvey was built in 1847 in Baltimore, Maryland. Designed as a Baltimore Clipper, she was a very fast topsail schooner working out of the port of Galveston Texas. At the turn out the Century she was making several voyages a year between Galveston and the ancient Jewish port of Jaffa which at the time was still under the Ottoman Empire. Her main cargo was hemp used to make ropes for the rigging of ships. 

The Baltimore Clippers were topsail schooners or brigs with raked masts and sharp deep hulls that allowed them to sail close to the wind. They were originally used as slavers and light cargo vessels, but their speed made them ideal privaters. In the War of 1812, sailing under Letters of Marque the Chasseur commanded by Captain Thomas Boyle captured 45 British merchant ships. The Chasseur was later nicknamed the "Pride of Baltimore" and a replica of her sails today and can be seen in Baltimore.

Standard Packet:  

Most beginners are not familiar with ship model making, so it is recommended for practice. The kit includes a full basswood sheet kit, with the hull made of straight wooden strips rather than pre-expanded, at an affordable price (no metal fittings).

Suitable for model enthusiasts with a certain level of proficiency and hands-on modification ability, meeting basic display needs. Building upon the beginner experience kit, the hull is upgraded to a pre-expanded hull, and comes with cherry wood keels and teak deck, facilitating the creation of a realistic wood grain effect (no metal fittings).

On the basis of upgrading the display kit, further additions include metal upgrade parts and lifeboats, meeting the requirements for public display

PACKET A + 10 brass cannons + 2 copper wires + PE hinges + 100 cable bolts + 2 anchors + full ribbed dinghy (9605) + 50 4mm triple-eye pulleys + 100 3mm single-wheel pulleys + triple-eye pulley fixing etching sheets + 2 chains.
Compared to the specifications of this product, it strikes a balance between price and components, saving more time, and achieving a display effect close to competition standards.

Packet D:

The kit features even more luxurious pulley components and finished masts than the upgraded display kit, greatly enhancing the authenticity and precision of the rigging. The dinghy has also been upgraded to a full ribbed design.

Note:  

Ship model kit itself with birch log stick to make the mast, u may need to DIY by yourself.  

Finished mast is price at 28 GBP which use CNC 3D engraved with pear wood. You only need polish the burr, and don't waste time to made mast.
