Up for sale is the original box, install discs, and manual for Quake II Colossus for Linux from 1999. This was purchased over two decades ago - probably at a computer show - if you remember what those were! Hope someone out there is interested in collecting it or trying to get it going on their vintage computer. Included is:

  • Original Box & cardboard insert - box is worn / dented /creased - LOOK AT THE PICTURES!
  • Original Quake II CD, jewel case, and insert
  • Original Quake II Mission Packs: The Reckoning & Ground Zero, jewel case, and insert
  • Original Manual

Quake II Colossus for Linux has the following system requirements:

  • Pentium 166MHz Minumum
  • Linux installation based on Kernel 2.0.24 or higher
  • Double Speed CD-ROM Drive
  • 100% Compatible Sound Blaster sound card
  • Joystick and mouse supported (3 button mouse recommended)
  • Supports network and internet play
  • Quake II requires a 3DFX based 3D accelerator or other X11 based OpenGL hardware accelerator
  • Disk Space:
    • 206-386MB for Quake II (depends on options like video and CTF support)
    • 98-399MB for both Mission Packs (depends on the installation of videos) (Requires installation of Quake II)
    • 16MB of RAM for software mode, 24MB minimum for OpenGL hardware acceleration

This will be carefully packed for shipment so that the disks and manual do not rattle around inside of the box.
