2022 issue Pride 50p coin. 

Issued to mark the 50th Anniversary of Pride, this 50p coin was designed in collaboration with Pride in London and features an original design by artist, writer and LGBTQ+ activist, Dominique Holmes.

The reverse design features 5 rainbows, each inscribed with one of Pride in London’s key values: “PRIDE PROTEST VISABILITY UNITY EQUALITY”.

The obverse design features the latest portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark.

Considering the popularity of previous ‘UK first’ 50ps and the fact that this will be the first ever UK Pride 50p, this coin is expected to be extremely sought after.
