Intended uses:

  • Using medium-sized or smaller dressings to apply to wet skin
  • Using thin or short tubing to attach to the skin
  • Packs for ostomy adhesion
  • When recurring taping is needed, securing items to fragile, in-danger skin

Applying on Dry Skin:

  • Wash your skin.
  • Unroll the tape with caution, without touching the adhesive side as much as possible.
  • Cut to the length you want.
  • Don’t grab the tape too firmly.
  • Place the tape over the target area without extending it.
  • To ensure strong adhesion, gently run your finger over the tape several times.

Applying on Damp Skin:

  • Cleanse your skin.
  • Unroll the tape and cut it to length, as much as possible without touching the adhesive.
  • Gently hold the tape in place.
  • Place tape over the target area but do not pull it tightly.
  • You might also want to gently run your finger over the tape once more.

How to Remove 3M Micropore Tape:

  • By pushing a small piece of tape onto the corner and pulling up, gently pry one corner of the tape up.
  • To avoid putting too much pressure on the skin, pull the tape back over itself in the direction of the hair.
  • Use a small amount of moisturiser or adhesive remover, such as Brava Adhesive Remover Spray and Wipes, on especially sticky tape.
  • Apply the moisture to the 3M Micropore Tape’s exposed adhesive side. Pull the tape up slowly, massaging the moisturiser into the tape as it rises.
