Six antique 7" bread and butter/dessert plates signed by Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria Germany. The plates are white with Gold decorated trim of roses and lattice work over an ivory background painted by Osborne Art Studio Chicago. Very good to excellent condition with no crazing, chips, or damage. No fading, finish is shiny. Very minimal utensil marks found on one plate, gold trim is structurally intact with no apparent loss. Some uneven coloration may be found which appears as a darker gold in minute places-very hard to see. Overall presentation for antique plates is excellent with very little sign of use. These plates were well cared for (hand washed) and are an exceptional example of gilt painting by Osborne Art Studios Chicago (early 20th c).
