NB: we have now discontinued the black pistons due to chipping of paint and will now use the tougher Hammerite silver finish on all future orders.

Below is a small list of what makes our models different to the standard ones.

1. 3 ton rating galvanised clevis and end strut fittings .

2. 6mm galvanised rivets as apposed to 3mm on the standard.

3. PA66 Dura nylon washers between all moving parts.

4. Shoulder areas of top,section increased by 3mm over standard to offset metal fatigue in main stress area.

5. Top and bottom sections of hinge made of 2mm & 3mm fully galvanised UK steel not inferior Chinese imported steel.

6. 120N or 140N depending on what you request European nitrogen filled gas spring struts tested to 10,000 cycles.

Please send me a picture of the damaged one if possible just so I can confirm the hinge will fit your model if you are the slightest bit unsure.Even if it states we are on holiday you can still message me and I will reply.

These are the same fitment as Part 565308 or WLPS. These hinges have been engineered to last longer than the original hinges with a thicker shoulder area and high grade pistons.All the metal components are made from fully galvanised UK steel with all heavy duty zinc plated fittings .All parts are laser cut and assembled in the UK for a precision fitting.

We don’t supply anyone else with these hinges so you can only get from this site. Even though a few other sellers are using our description and pictures they are not our models.

The pistons are heavy duty 120N force in rust proof Hammerite silver paint with heavy duty ultra hardwearing nylon washers on all moving parts. Going forward we will be able to offer 140N force pistons at no extra cost over the normal 120N . Just put 140N force in the message option when ordering.

This will fit the left or right side .

NB :don’t lose the old screws as we don’t supply them and they are expensive to replace.
