Vintage Gretsch 6117T guitar. Made in USA 1963.
Roadworn condition with lacquer checking throughout and deterioration to the back of the headstock. The tuners are modern Wilkinson replacements and I don't have the originals.
There are marks and dings in place and loads of signs of age. It's probably been refretted in the past. It has a US patent Bigsby fitted. We added a small removable shim under the bridge pickup to raise it closer to the strings. I think the pickups originally would have had some yellow print on them but this is worn away.
Part of the internal label is missing and the guitar is used, aged, road worn etc.
The electrics are fully working, master volume, individual volumes, 3 way switch and 3 way tone settings switch. The strings are new and the action is reasonable at 2.5mm at the 12th fret but it won't go lower.
Comes with non original hard case.
