The Uni - Ball Fanthom, like the Pilot Frixion, uses Thermo Sensitive Ink which can be erased by heat, you write, you erase, you are then ready straight away to write again, no waiting for Tipp-Ex to dry etc. In fact their is a general thought by a lot of people that these are better than the Pilot Frixion, because of the fact that with The Fanthom you can erase by using the end of the cap and not the end of the pen like the Pilot Frixion. Also these are cheaper than the Frixion.

These pens have a 0.7mm medium point nib which will give you a 0.5mm writing line.

It is as simple as it sounds to erase, just take the cap and rub it over the area you wish to erase, the heat then will turn the ink clear, cleanly with no mess. Straight away you are ready to write again, all while doing this you have not had to swap pens, you have done this all with the same pen.
