THE THINGS/TROUBLESHOOTING METIONED BELOW.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF FUEL IN YOUR GAS TANK THAT YOUR ENGINE IS
ATTACHED TO. NOW PULL THE FUEL LINE FROM THE
FUEL PUMP AND PUT IT INTO A CLEAR QUART JAR AND LOWER IT TO THE GROUND.
NOW TURN ON YOUR SHUT OFF VALVE, IF YOU HAVE NO FREE-FLOW OF FUEL THEN IT IS
SAFE TO SAY THAT THERE IS
SOMETHING IN THE GAS TANK LIKE GRASS, LEAVES OR DEBRIS STOPING THE FUEL FLO.
THIS SHOULD GIVE YOU AN INDICATION THAT YOU MAY NOT NEED A FUEL PUMP.
NOW IF YOU LOOSEN YOUR GAS TANKS FUEL CAP JUST A LITTLE AND
BLOW SOME AIR INTO THE FUEL LINE GOING BACK TO THE FUEL TANK AND THEN PUT THE
HOSE BACK INTO THE
QUART JAR AND LOWER IT TO THE GROUND AGAIN AND YOU NOW HAVE
FUEL FLOW. YOU THEN KNOW THAT YOU
NEED TO REMOVE THE FUEL TANK TO CLEAN IT OUT. WHY? BECAUSE
WHATEVER IT WAS IS GOING TO FLOAT BACK INTO
THE WAY AGAIN AND RESTRICT THE FUEL FLOW IF YOU DONT CLEAN IT OUT.
LET'S SAY YOU HAD FUEL FLOW AFTER LOWERING THE LINE TO THE GROUND IN THE
FIRST PLACE.
THEN YOU NEED TO BLOW THROUGH THE FUEL PUMP ON THE INLET PORT.
IF YOU CAN'T BLOW THROUGH IT THEN REMOVE THE LINE FROM THE FUEL PUMP THAT
GOES DIRECTLY TO THE CARBURETOR.
NOW TRY TO BLOW THROUGH THAT HOSE GOING INTO THE CARBURETOR.
IF YOU STILL CAN'T, THEN YOU KNOW THAT THERE IS
SOMETHING PLUGGED IN THE NEEDLE SEAT AREA THAT IS INSIDE OF THE CARBURETOR.
SOMETHING IS STOPPING THAT FLOW.
REMOVE THE CARBURETOR AND TAKE IT TO A PROFESSIONAL TO HAVE IT SERVICED.
IF YOU ARE A CERTIFIED MECHANIC THEN TAKE THE CARBURETOR APART YOURSELF AND
REMOVE THE FLOAT BOWL AND
NEEDLE FROM THE NEEDLE SEAT. NOW ATTACH AN AIR HOSE TO THE NEEDLE SEAT WHERE
YOU PULLED THE NEEDLE OUT OF AND
BLOW BACK THROUGH IT WITH AN AIR HOSE.
IT SHOULD HAVE NOW BLOWN OUT WHATEVER IT WAS THAT PLUGGED IT UP.
NOW REASSEMBLE THE CARBURETOR IN THE SAME MANNER IT WAS TAKEN APART AND TRY TO
BLOW LOW PREASURE (WE DO IT BY MOUTH) INTO THE CARBURETOR FROM THE
INLET PORT GOING IN TO THE CARBURETOR. YOUR PROBLEM SHOULD NOT BE SOLVED.
NOW WHAT YOU NEED TO DO FROM YOUR FUEL TANK TO YOUR ENGINES CARBURETOR IS
MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS ASSEMBELED IN THIS ORDER...
CLEAR FUEL LINE FROM GAS TANK PORT-to-FUEL SHUT OFF VALVE-to-
FUEL FILTER-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-FUEL PUMP-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-CARBURETOR.
NOW EVEN IF YOUR TRACTOR, GENERATOR, WELDER OR WHATEVER YOUR
ENGINE IS ON DID NOT COME WITH A SEDIMENT BOWL ON IT THEN
LISTEN CLOSELY TO A PROFESSIONAL THAT IS HERE TO SAVE YOU
MONEY/TIME AND A LATER HEADAKE.... DO THIS.....
FUEL TANK-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-SEDIMENT BOWL-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-
FUEL FILTER-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-FUEL PUMP-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-CARB.!!!!

A SEDIMENT BOWL PUT IN A VISUAL PLACE WHERE YOU CAN
SEE IT WILL CATCH THAT WATER/CONDINSATION THAT
SOMEHOW ALWAYS MAKES ITS WAY INTO YOUR FUEL FROM THE GAS STATION!
THIS IS BECAUSE WATER IS HEAVIER THAN GASOLINE.
THAT GLASS SEDIMENT BOWL WILL CATCH THAT (VERY LITTLE AMOUNT OF) WATER IN
THAT BOWL SO IT DOES NOT MAKE ITS
WAY THRU EVERYTHING ELSE TO GET INTO YOUR CARBURETOR AND RUIN ITS COMPONETS!
THAT IN ITSELF IS BAD FOR EVERYTHING BUT NOW IMAGINE IF YOU ARE A PERSON THAT
LIVES IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTRY AND DEAL WITH FRIDGID COLD WINTERS,
NOW YOU HAVE WATER FROZE UP IN YOUR CARBURETOR, FUEL PUMP, FUEL FILTER AND
GAS TANK!!!!
NOTHING WILL STOP FROZEN WATER FROM BUSTING YOUR
COMPONETS IN ANYTHING ONCE IT FREEZES UP!!!!!!!
